Corfe Mullen Recreation Ground Badbury View Road. 

38 MILE RIDE

The 38-mile ride follows the Stour Valley to Blandford, and then at Winterborne Stickland turns south down the Winterborne Valley to the refreshment stop at Winterborne Kingston. Then continues along the valley to Anderson before crossing the A31 for the return ride around Morden and onto Lytchett Matravers.

48 MILE RIDE

The 48-mile ride also follows the Stour Valley to Blandford but at Winterborne Stickland, it turns north and then takes cyclists to Bulbarrow and Milton Abbas before rejoining the 38-mile ride in Winterborne Whitechurch.

58 MILE RIDE

The 58 mile ride follows the route of the 48-mile ride to Bulbarrow and then descends to a refreshment stop in Cheselbourne. This popular improved ride now takes cyclists through Puddletown then onto Tolpuddle and Milborne St. Andrew before rejoining the 48-mile in Milton Abbas.

COURSE SUPPORT

Start Line

All rides start and finish from Corfe Mullen Recreation Ground Badbury View Road. Registration shall open at 8am on the day of the event and each cyclist will be required to attend registration at the check-in time allocated to them in their entry pack.

Medical

There will be medical support on the course and also limited first aid at the refreshment stops.

 

There will also be a massage for those tired limbs at the finish.

Hydration

There are regular stops for hydration, food and toilet breaks on each ride.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The event consists of 3 circular rides all starting and finishing at Corfe Mullen recreation ground Badbury View Road. Riders select their course when entering but have the option to change on the day as the longer rides all offer possibilities for a shorter distance. The routes follow mainly country lanes and only cross a few main roads.
